We started Astro Sound Productions in 1983 with a simple promise: show up early, run a clean signal chain, and leave when the last guest does. That hasn't changed. What's changed is the gear, the rooms, and the scale — from a few hundred people in a fire hall to multi-stage outdoor productions. The standard is the same.

Common questions.

How far in advance should I book?
Book at least 30 days in advance whenever possible. Larger productions or peak weekends can fill up earlier — reach out as soon as you have a date.
Do you provide engineers, or just gear?
Both. Every booking includes at least one experienced engineer running front-of-house. Larger shows add a monitor engineer, A2, and stage techs. We don't drop gear and leave.
What size events do you handle?
From a 30-person reception to multi-stage outdoor events around 5,000 capacity. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you and recommend someone who is.
Can you work with our band's rider?
Yes. Send the rider with your inquiry and we'll quote against it. Most consoles, mic packages, and monitor configurations are in our regular inventory.
Do you handle outdoor power?
We work routinely with venue power, distros, and generators. Tell us what's on site (or what isn't) and we'll plan around it.
What's required to hold a date?
A signed agreement and a deposit lock the calendar. Until that's in place, dates are first-come.
Do you travel?
Yes, regionally as standard and farther for the right event. Travel and lodging are quoted on top of the day rate.
